‘Fun with watercolours’.   5-week Interactive online course with live tuition by Raya Brown

Some experience in watercolour painting will be beneficial.

This is a light-hearted, experimental and explorative course where you will have a chance to play with watercolours and other materials, creating amazing textures and effects. Join us on Wednesdays with a cup of tea and some snacks or a glass of wine, if you wish, to play with watercolours, exploring different techniques,   sharing your ideas with each other and socializing on zoom.

This fun course is for anyone, however, some previous experience using watercolour will be beneficial. If you are fed up sitting at home on your own, lets enjoy being creative in the company of like minded people and talk about anything, apart from Corona.

Each week I will be demonstrating a new technique and you will have a chance to practice it at your own pace in a relaxed atmosphere of your home.  You will study wax resist and wet-into-wet techniques and learn how to create fantastic textures using salt, cling film and other materials.   You will be painting landscapes, birds and cats. You will have an opportunity to ask me any questions, apart from Corona 🙂 and I will give you some feedback on your work. You can also share your work with anyone who participates in this course.
