Learn to draw with pastels at Fundamental Art Skills course in Kidderminster Worcestershire

Last week my students from the Fundamental Art Skills course in Kidderminster were exploring pastels and produced these lovely still lifes.

Some enjoyed using soft chalk pastels and others preferred using pastel pencils. There were some of us who really really loved the pastel smudging technique. This material allowed us to gain more confidence working on bigger size paper and freedom of blending the colours while creating the new tones and shades. Fantastic results.
